ARRMA Mojave Grom Body Skid Set
This skid set protects the area where the shell typically takes the most abuse. Printed in TPU, the parts are tough and flexible, allowing them handle repeated crashes without cracking. The tall roof skids also protect the stock bolts, helping to prevent the hex heads from wearing out over time.
What's included?
- Hood skids
- Tail skids
- Tall roof skids (use the stock bolts)
- M3x8mm Bolts (4x) - These are for the hood skids
- M3x10mm Bolts (2x) - These are for the tail skids
- M3 Nylon Locking Nuts (6x)
- 3x7 Washers (6x) - These fit within the bores of the skids
- 3x9 Washers (6x) - These sit inside the body, under the nuts
Installation:
- The hood skids are meant to align with the contours of the body. For best alignment of the hood skid, ensure its straight edge is parallel with the "hood vents" and of course centered. Tape can be used to hold the skid in place and then drill 1/8" (or equivalent) holes.
- Ensure a snug fit against the body for the tail skids. They should sit parallel to the "tail lights." It may help to push on the corner of the skids and then drill.
